Neighborhood Churches exists to train and equip gospel missionaries by planting and revitalizing churches in the forgotten places of New Bedford & Fall River Massachusetts.
Meet Our Board
is the founder and Executive Director of Neighborhood Churches, where he provides vision and leadership for planting and strengthening healthy, gospel-centered churches in underserved communities. He is also the founding pastor of Grace Harbor Church in New Bedford Massachusetts, where he is committed to forming disciples, developing leaders, and cultivating a multiplying church culture shaped by the mission of God. Morgan holds a degree in sociology from Edinboro University and did theological training at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, grounding his ministry in both cultural understanding and theological depth. His calling is centered on seeing the local church flourish through faithful presence, shared leadership, and gospel-driven mission.
Morgan Proudfoot
serves on the Board of Directors of Neighborhood Churches, where he brings decades of pastoral experience and a deep commitment to church planting and leadership development. He is the founding pastor of Hope Fellowship Church, in Cambridge, Massachusetts where he has faithfully served for twenty-three years in gospel-centered ministry and helped establish a strong culture of discipleship, mission, and church health. Curtis is passionate about developing leaders and seeing local churches thrive in New England.
Curtis Cook
serves on the Board of Directors of Neighborhood Churches, where she contributes a heart for spiritual care and holistic health of both leaders and congregations. She is a member of Grace Harbor Church in New Bedford, Massachusetts and serves as a biblical counselor with Paradigm Biblical Counseling. Liz is passionate about helping people experience gospel-centered transformation and supporting churches as they care well for those they serve. She holds a Masters Degree in Social Work.
Liz Baldwin
serves on the Board of Neighborhood Churches, where she brings valuable experience in strategy, development, and organizational leadership. She is a member of The Village Church in Denton, Texas, and has a background in corporate fundraising with the University of North Texas. Heather is passionate about stewarding resources well and supporting the work of healthy, gospel-centered churches in their communities for generations to come.
Heather Rozell
serves as a Board Member of Neighborhood Churches, where he brings a heart for church planting, strategic leadership, and holistic care for the organization. He is also the Lead Pastor of The Village Church in Denton, Texas, where he is committed to making disciples, developing leaders, and helping the church live on mission in its city. Beau’s pastoral ministry is marked by a deep love for the local church and a desire to see churches thrive through faithful preaching, community, and multiplication. He holds a doctorate degree from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Dr. Beau Hughes
serves as President of the Board for Neighborhood Churches, where he provides leadership, wisdom, and oversight for the Board of Directors. He is also an elder at The Village Church in Denton, Texas, where he faithfully serves through shepherding and leading the church to accomplish its mission. Bill was an attorney for more than 30 years in California and Texas, which enables him to bring a depth of professional experience and discernment to his service. He is deeply committed to the mission of Neighborhood Churches to make a kingdom impact in New England.
Bill Trask
serves as the Administrator of Neighborhood Churches, where she supports the organization’s mission through strategic coordination, systems, and care for leaders. She is a member of Grace Harbor Church in New Bedford, Massachusetts and holds a Master’s degree from Southeastern Seminary. With a background in corporate human resources, Chelsea brings a unique blend of organizational leadership, theological training, and people-centered wisdom to her work, helping create healthy structures that support flourishing churches and teams.
